Take 10 minutes to sit down and write, without pausing or thinking about an outcome .
“The purpose of a storyteller is not to tell you how to think, but to give you questions to think upon.” ”
Writing prompt:
How to:
• Set a timer to 5-10 min and keep the pen on paper (or fingers on keyboard or talk to text running). Follow what comes up. Stay open to unexpected brilliance that can happen while trying to write what comes up automatically.
• Get as weird as you want to be. There’s no hard and fast writing rules here! Allow the words to come as they wish. There is no right way to write, no correct style or form or shape.
• Turn off the self-censor and critical voices. If you come up against a “voice”, try writing what you are hearing and then try writing in opposition to that voice. Dismantle those voices that keep us quiet or stuck.
"How do you know what you know?
What can you trust without someone else outside of your body, telling you?
Is intuition a body sensation?"
