What do you know for certain? What beliefs and truth are you living without questioning? Being responsible means to get aware what you are responding to.

Story is stored memory acting as a body. So what memories are you believing more than the reality around you?

And the stories that give our lives meaning & direction as well as a sense of identity, form our beliefs. So if something is habitual, it must have a certain (believed) benefit to our lives. Otherwise we wouldn’t do them.

Changing your behavior then comes back to rediscover where the connected beliefs come from.
